Boy Scout Troop 80, based in Mountain View, Calif., attracts members from Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Los Altos and Palo Alto. Our Troop is part of the Pacific Skyline Council, Stanford District, of the Boy Scouts of America and is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Mountain View.

This Troop focuses on providing scouts the opportunity to acquire practical and leadership skills. Established April 1958, our honor roll contains 95 past members who have achieved the Eagle rank. We provide support necessary for all scouts to achieve Eagle if they so choose.

“Life without adventure would be deadly dull.”
—Lord Baden-Powell

Boy Scout Troop 80 is an exciting, action-oriented troop that operates under the patrol method originally developed by Lord Baden-Powell, founder of the World Scouting Movement and Boy Scouts of America. Through the Patrol Method boys run their own scouting program. They plan and execute their own meetings and outings, and learn by their successes and failures.
